FAQs
How often should my pool be serviced?
We suggest our visits should be weekly/fortnightly in the swimming season – (1 November to 30 April), and fortnightly/monthly outside the swimming season (1 May to 31 October)
Chlorine vs. Minerals: What’s the Difference?
Both chlorine and mineral pools offer effective sanitation and enjoyable swimming experiences. The decision ultimately depends on your preferences regarding maintenance, chemical use, and the desired feel of the water.
Chlorine Pool:
Sanitisation: Chlorine pools use chlorine-based chemicals to sanitise and disinfect the water.
Maintenance: Regular monitoring and adjustment of chlorine levels are required to maintain water quality.
Benefits: Effective at killing bacteria and algae, ensuring clear and safe swimming conditions.
Mineral Pool:
Sanitisation: Mineral pools use natural minerals such as copper and silver ions to sanitize the water, reducing the need for chlorine.
Maintenance: Generally requires less chlorine and fewer chemicals compared to traditional chlorine pools.
Benefits: Often perceived as gentler on skin and eyes, with some minerals offering additional health benefits.
Choosing Between Them:
Considerations: Chlorine pools are widely used and effective but may require more chemical maintenance. Mineral pools offer an alternative with potentially lower chemical use and added skin benefits.
Personal Preference: The choice between chlorine and mineral pools often comes down to personal preference, budget, and desired maintenance level.

What if my pool has gone green?
We can help! If your pool has gone green our expert team will require a few visits to help get it looking pristine again. We will start with a thorough clean and water test and balance, and will re-visit over a few days to continue the testing and balancing of the water until we get it sparkling again.
Do I need to be home for your service visit?
You are more than welcome to be present whilst we are servicing your pool but as long as we can access the pool you don’t need to be there.
